AIRCRAFT: 1976 Cessna 206F N8737Q, serial number 20603490 **PHOTOS**
ENGINE(S): Continental model IO-550-F1, serial number 1001578.
APPROXIMATE TOTAL HOURS: Logbooks were not found. Unofficial paperwork provided indicates Airframe total time may have been 2489.7 and Engine TSMOH may have been 346.1
EQUIPMENT: Avionics destroyed in post crash fire.
DESCRIPTION OF ACCIDENT: While attempting to make an emergency landing, the aircraft contacted some trees and impacted the ground. There was a post impact fire.
The exact cause of the accident has not been determined. The engine was reported to have operated normally in a post crash engine test.
DESCRIPTION OF DAMAGES: The aircraft fuselage was significantly damage by the impact and the majority of the cabin area consumed by the post impact fire. The engine was
recovered by itself because the primary engine attachments were all destroyed. All three blades of the Mc Cauley propeller have two severe bends. The Wipaire floats have
some damage. The landing gear appears intact. **PHOTOS**
