DESCRIPTION OF ACCIDENT: On 4/27/20, nose gear collapse approximately 100 feet after landing at San Bernardino Int’l Airport, CA
DESCRIPTION OF DAMAGES: As a result of the nose gear failure, both propellers struck the runway under power and the tips of all the blades are scraped and severely curled/bent back. Additionally, airframe damage was sustained such that the nose cone and nose gear doors are scraped and deformed, the lower nose gear bay is scraped and bent, and the aircraft's belly is dented and deformed.
LOCATION OF AIRCRAFT: Nose gear was locked after plane was raised and plane was then towed to FBO ramp where it remains. Luxivair, San Bernardino Int’l Airport, California (909) 382-6068
